A Friend in Need…

When Violet removed her mask — and Glocky could see the look in her eyes; a look of concern — he believed her. He nodded, briefly, then looked between ehr and Alex, trying to figure out what was happening…
And then she gave the order. “Y-Yeah, okay…” Glocky wasn’t sure, even with how scrawny Alex was, that he could restrain him when he was so hysterical, but he had to try. He took a running start and launched himself at his friend, trying to tackle him to the ground.
Alex was barely aware of anything happening outside of his own mind, so he went down like a ton of bricks when Glocky tackled him. He quickly realised what was happening, though, and torn between the turmoil of his mind and the terror of being pinned down, he flailed wildly to get away.
“LET GO!” screamed the blue teenager, clawing at the grass to get away, but only succeeding in digging up handfuls of dirt.
“It’s okay, Alex. It’s okay, it’s okay, it’s okay… I’m not going to hurt you. I’m not going to hurt you. I’m your friend!” Glocky cried, desperate, holding on tightly to his friend.
